Urgent Run Paris 2024: a race for hygiene

Since 2019, WATERLAB Services has been proud to support Urgent Run Paris, an essential event to raise awareness and take action in the face of a global challenge: in 2024, 2.3 billion people still do not have access to basic sanitation facilities. A reality that calls for action to provide decent hygienic conditions for all.

In 2024, for the 6th year, WATERLAB Services once again played a central role in ensuring the supply of drinking water for all participants in the Urgent Run Paris.

A committed partner alongside WC Loc, main sponsor, WATERLAB Services installed its innovative Fas’Tower and Fas Tube fountains, to provide clean and safe water throughout this emblematic event, which continues to bring people together around the essential cause of hygiene and human dignity.

An exceptional mobilization!

Thanks to the energy of the 1,200 runners, during the 2024 edition of Urgent Paris, €22,500 was raised for the construction of toilets in Benin, Togo and Senegal, in partnership with Vision du Monde.

With the other subsidiaries of the Enygea Group: WC Loc, HAPPEE Services, WATERLAB Services – played a key role: sponsorship, provision of toilets and distribution of drinking water. And this year again, the teams outdid themselves: 200 employees from France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Spain and Italy ran for the cause, embodying our values of solidarity and commitment.

At WATERLAB Services, CSR commitment is at the heart of our priorities. By carrying out our 2023 carbon footprint, we accurately measured our greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions to better guide our actions in favor of the ecological transition.

From October 9 to November 17, construction industry players mobilized to improve hygiene on construction sites, an initiative supported by the OPPBTP poster campaign. Made up of prevention experts from the field who support construction professionals and stakeholders on a daily basis, the OPPBTP aims to develop practices to improve the safety and health of women and men in construction in order to prevent work accidents and occupational diseases.
