Successful partnership with Chaudières Location for the Pelouse de Reuilly
When a major international sporting event takes place in the French capital, the logistics must be impeccable. In this context, ensuring the accommodation and comfort of thousands of military personnel in charge of security is an absolute priority. It is in this context that our partnership with Chaudières Location took on its full meaning, making it possible to equip military life bases, on the Pelouse de Reuilly, with a perfectly adapted electric boiler and water management solution. In total: 414 toilets were installed on the site, 431 showers, 468 sinks and 2 MAS* (asynchronous motor, an actuator allowing the transformation of the electrical energy it consumes into mechanical energy) electric. They are suitable motors, for systems running for hours or continuously at a constant speed.
On the equipment side, we were responsible for the distribution of drinking water (cold water) and hot water. We equipped the site with our distribution pipes and manifolds. Our teams carried out disinfection and laboratory analysis services.
Chaudières Location participated in the successful completion of the project with the provision of mobile hot water production equipment including a DHW tank, electric boiler and all the essential accessories (pipes, cables, etc.).
*The MAS (Asynchronous Motor) electric induction motor is a type of motor where the electric current is induced in the rotor by the rotating magnetic field of the stator. It operates without direct electrical contact with the rotor, thus offering great robustness and requiring little maintenance, making it one of the most commonly used motors in industry.
This project at Pelouse de Reuilly perfectly illustrates the effectiveness of our renewed collaboration with Chaudières Location and our ability to meet the strictest requirements in high-pressure contexts. Thanks to this success, we were able to contribute to the smooth running of the international sporting event, by offering the military essential comfort in their protection mission.
A large-scale installation for optimal comfort with WATERLAB Services, HAPPEE Services and Chaudières Location
The companies demonstrated synergy, requiring a lot of equipment.
The mission was clear: equip and install temporary infrastructures capable of accommodating 5,000 soldiers for an extended period. These infrastructures had to not only meet the daily needs of the occupants, but also guarantee maximum energy efficiency and security. The challenges were multiple: a significant demand for hot water, a significant number of toilets, and the need for a quick and reliable installation with running water, while adjusting to the event's prerequisites in terms of eco-responsibility, in particular thanks to full electric solutions and optimal management of water consumption.

The client had specific requirements: complete camps had to be set up on the Pelouse de Reuilly, an area of over 25 hectares located to the east of Paris (at the edge of the Bois de Vincennes). These camps had to be equipped to manage the hot water, heating and sanitation needs of 5,000 people, in a context where reliability and efficiency were crucial. And all risks of illness had to be eliminated, of course. It was imperative to comply with the legislation governing the distribution of drinking water (need to disinfect networks, need to carry out water analyses with the absence of drinking water bacteria (EDCH)* and absence of legionella in shower water.

For this request, we relied on our leading partner in the field: Chaudières location, whose mission is to support companies in their needs for the production of domestic hot water and heating with turnkey mobile boiler systems. Thanks to rigorous planning and close collaboration between all stakeholders, the installation was successfully completed.
